ABOUT YOGA
Yoga has been around for thousands of years but its ancient tools & techniques have never been more relevant. A regular yoga practice can help you reduce pain and tension in your body, positively improve your mental health, and help you remember life’s deeper meaning. If you’re curious about yoga, but have felt intimidated by attending drop-in classes, need a refresher after a long break or just want to set up a solid foundation for your practice, this course is for you.
ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course runs over 4 consecutive Saturdays from 10-11am at our beautiful, fully equipped yoga studio in Tamworth, NSW. Each session will involve physical movement, breathing, meditation techniques with an optional 15 minute Q&A at the end. Mats and props are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.
BY THE END OF THE COURSE YOU WILL
Be able to do the most common yoga poses so that you feel confident attending classes at your local studio or gym
Know the names of the poses, key terms & studio etiquette so you never feel lost or out of place
Be practicing proper yogic breathing so that you get the most mind-body benefit out of each class
Have a set of techniques to practice at home to help you instantly feel calmer & reduce stress

WHAT TO BRING / THINGS TO KNOW:
Wear comfortable clothing that it’s easy to move in. Tights, trackies or shorts work well.
Yoga studios are barefoot environments. Socks are ok, but leave your shoes at the door.
Bring a water-bottle & pen/pencil.
Everything else (mats, props etc. are provided)
INVESTMENT
The cost of the course is $99 AUD, and includes access to each of the Saturday morning beginners classes, as well as unlimited access to yin & restorative classes throughout the duration of the course.
This course is suitable for absolute yoga beginners with no prior experience.
