OUR TEACHERS
Cora Geroux - Studio Owner
BA Psych, E-RYT 500
Cora has been practicing yoga since she was a teenager, teaching full-time since 2009, and training teachers since 2015. She’s passionate about making yoga fun, welcoming and accessible to anyone who has a desire to learn.
Originally from Canada, Cora grew up in a tiny fishing village, where she first started practicing yoga from a Rodney Yee VHS tape. Shortly after graduating from Simon Fraser University with a BA in Psychology, Cora trained as a hot yoga teacher in Las Vegas, Nevada through Modo Yoga International. Returning to Vancouver, Cora began teaching straight away, and fell in love with uplifting others through the practice of yoga. She has had the good fortune to study with Sarah Powers, Bernie Clark, Maty Ezraty and Ana Forrest, among many other of the worlds most respected teachers.
Cora moved to Australia in 2011, and later went on to open a registered yoga school (RYS) and was the co-owner of two yoga studios in Sydney from 2016-2019. After living in the city for nearly 2 decades, Cora wanted to get back to her country roots, so in 2021 Cora and her partner James, packed up their things and moved to Tamworth. They now live in Moonbi with 4 chickens, a cat, and a boisterous & very cuddly ridgeback named Benny (who you might see next time you’re in the studio).

Jolan has a deep love for the feminine & nurturing approach to yoga - meaning to move with the cycles of life not against them. As Gabrielle Roth says - "When we're in our flow, all we have to do is walk across a room to be mesmerising. We feel confident in ourselves because we're connected to the earth and in harmony with her rhythms, cycles & moods."
Jolan, alongside her regular timetable classes, also offers private yoga sessions as well as a variety of immersions, workshops & series throughout the year.

Emma Grant, RYT 200, B Health Science (Counselling); Lvl 1,2 and 3 Wellness Coach
Emma’s love for yoga began in her early 30’s when she needed a way to calm her mind from the everyday stresses of life. Her love of yoga led her down the path of wanting more and she completed her 200 hr teacher training in 2017 at the Yoga loft in Newcastle. Emma loves Vinyasa flow and hot power yoga, with the poses flowing from one to another in a sequence, rather than being held for too long. This is achieved by controlled breathing used in a specific manner to move from pose to pose that builds heat in the body to feel alive. When we are anchored to the breath we create a connection to the present moment and experience stillness to feel grounded and peaceful.
Emma grew up on a property in Bendemeer, she is a mother of 3 beautiful children and returned to Tamworth in 2021 to raise her family back in nature.
Felicity Doyle, RYT 350
Felicity has been practising Yoga for more than 20 years and completed her 350hr teacher training in 2010 whilst living in Sydney. Felicity has also completed specialised Prenatal Yoga teacher training. Felicity’s interest in yoga began in her late teens when she went to the occasional yoga class with her mum. In her early 20’s, she began attending regular yoga classes for the relief it provided her body and mind after sitting for long hours in her office-based job. Yoga was also incredibly supportive during all 3 of Felicity’s pregnancies and births, and continues to be one of her favourite self-care tools as a busy mum.
With a background predominantly in the Hatha and Iyengar styles, Felicity has been incredibly fortunate to have learnt from various influential teachers. Felicity also enjoys practising Zen Ki Yoga which is based on the Japanese shiatsu healing system. The culmination of her varied experience and learning over the years is what Felicity brings to her classes, with the ultimate intention of guiding her students to experience a calm and balanced body, mind and spirit through the practice of yoga.
Felicity has a life-long interest in holistic health, which has led her to continually learn and expand her knowledge. As well as being a Yoga Teacher, Felicity is also a Kinesiologist and Holistic Health Coach. She truly believes in the balance of mind, body and spirit for optimal health and well-being.
