What Does A Private Yoga Session Look Like?
You’ll meet your teacher at your scheduled appointment time at our studio 3/277 Peel Street.
Your session may take place in our main yoga studio, or our treatment room, depending on the time of your appointment. Both are beautiful.
During your first session, your teacher will have a brief chat with you about your injuries, and goals prior to starting.
Next you’ll get right into practice - your teacher will guide you through specific yoga asana, breath work and meditation practices to asses your alignment, understanding and work with any injuries that you might have.
Your teacher may support you with hands on adjustments, or verbal cues to help you get your alignment just right.
Depending on your goals, your teacher may also lead you through guided meditation and breath work.
Unlike a group yoga class, your teacher may ask you questions like “do you feel this in your right hip?” and you may dialogue back and forth with your teacher to make sure your getting the most out of your practice.
Each session will end with a guided relaxation called savasana that usually last about 5 minutes.
How Much Does A Private Yoga Session in Tamworth Cost?
The rate you pay for your private yoga session is dependent on the teachers level of experience and skills. A 60 minute private yoga session costs in between $100 - $140 AUD.
RYT 200 - $100 / HR
A fully qualified yoga teacher who has successfully completed a 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training program.
RYT 500 - $120 / HR
A fully qualified yoga teacher who has successfully completed a 500 HR Yoga Teacher Training program, and has taught at least 100 hrs.
E-RYT 500 - $140 / HR
A fully qualified yoga teacher who has successfully completed a 500 HR Yoga Teacher Training program, and has taught at least 2000 hrs.

Comfy stuff.
Things that you can sit on the floor in and still be able to move around. Like trackies, tights, or shorts.
✌️ Something to be aware of is that you often bend over, so if you’re wearing a loose shirt it can go up your back. If you don’t want that, tuck it in, or wear a tighter fitting top.

Nope!
We provide mats and all props. However if you have your own gear that you love, you can certainly bring it along.
👉 We do recommend dressing in comfy clothes. Please bring a water bottle 💦
🌱 The props we use are deluxe Lululemon yoga mats, natural cork blocks, natural cotton yoga bolsters, and silk eyepillows.

⌚️Please arrive 15 minutes before your first private yoga session so you can fill out some paperwork and get acquainted with the space.

🚘 There is 1 - 2HR street parking on Peel Street.
🚘 There is also a 2 HR car park behind the studio, in the office works car park. Note: If you park here you will have to walk around to Peel St. past Cotton On.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We know things come up — kids get sick, life gets messy, or sometimes you just forget you booked a thing (we’ve been there ). Here’s how cancellations and reschedules work, so we’re all on the same page:
Need to Cancel?
If it’s more than 48 hours before your appointment, you can do it online. Within 48 hours? Just send us an email — we check messages Mon–Fri, and we’ll always honour the time your email was sent, not when we see it.
Here's How Refunds Work:
More than 48 hours before your appointment → You’ll get a full refund
Between 24–48 hours → You’ll get a 50% refund
Less than 24 hours → Sorry, no refund — your practitioner has already prepped and set aside the time just for you
How Refunds Are Processed
Refunds don’t happen automatically — once you’re eligible, just email cora@tamworthyoga.com to let us know, and we'll process your refund ASAP.

You can reschedule yourself up to 48 hours in advance online — easy peasy.
