11:11 Yoga Studio Manager 6 Month Contract


Role Outline

11:11 Yoga is looking for our first studio manager to assist in the day-to-day running of the studio, and support our student base to have a seamless experience during all levels of interaction with our business. You will be responsible for managing student communication through various channels, and processing requests through our booking software, MindBody. You will be the first touch point between the studio and our students, so making our students feel seen & heard on a timely basis is of utmost importance. 

As the studio manager you will also be responsible for keeping the studio clean & tidy, and making sure it is stocked with supplies at all times. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer hello@1111yoga.com.au email and various social inboxes

  • Answer phone during shifts & reply to texts and voicemails

  • Managing student admin - booking classes, pausing/canceling memberships, looking into issues with passes etc

  • Updating covers in MindBody

  • Inputting new student forms into MindBody

  • Reconciling sales with cash & receipts & following up on discrepancies

  • Managing teacher communications book, and following up with all issues/requests

  • Making sure studio is clean & stocked with supplies; tea, tp, tissues, cleaning products

Important Details

This role is a 6 Month Contract; applicants must have their own ABN, and are responsible for their own tax & superannuation.

  • Start Date: Immediate

  • Hours: 10 hrs per week, to be broken down into 3 shifts

  • Pay: $30/hour, invoiced to studio weekly

  • Incentives: Unlimited Yoga Membership for you and a +1 for the duration of your contract. $70/week value. 

  • Location: In studio, Tamworth, CBD

  • Future Opportunities: For the right fit, there may be an opportunity to expand the scope of the role and hours as well as extend the contract beyond the original 6 months.

The successful candidate for this role will posses the following abilities & characteristics:

  • Exceptional customer service skills - both in person, and via email and text. 

  • Great organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to use basic computer programs including email, word, and studio specific software MindBody

  • Selfstarter who takes initiative and ownership of role, and actively makes suggestions for improvements

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Ability to be flexible, and adapt to change easily (i.e. familiarity with working for a small/new business)

  • Ability to follow, as well as create and improve admin processes

  • Positive, can-do attitude

Training:

Full training will be provided including training on our booking system MindBody
